Founder and principal designer Sam Pettersen is first and foremost a furniture designer having gained over a decade of experience in design and manufacture.
Ethos
We understand the importance of design and the effect it can have on people. Design acts as a communication tool, expressing the culture and values of an organisation. Good design helps attract and retain a talented workforce whilst great design enhances wellbeing. We believe that beautifully designed furniture is critical to the success of an organisation as happy and healthy people are more likely to be energised, productive and present.

We remove the unnecessary and frivolous to create well-considered products which are economic to manufacture and efficient to transport.
Make it last
We believe in making fewer products that last longer. We achieve this by combining quality materials, timeless looks and robust construction techniques to create products which are well-made, useful and repairable.
The knock down construction of our furniture means it lasts longer and is easier to fix if something goes wrong. We use screws rather than glue to ensure all parts can easily be replaced, repaired or recycled.
Make a difference
We manufacture furniture in a way that benefits people and the planet. Whether it’s paying our suppliers fairly, reducing the amount of waste we produce or considering the materials we use and how we can be more responsible with them, making right decision isn’t always the easiest but it’s the only choice for us.
